The HTPA Board of Directors is proud to announce the continued designation of Houston Habitat for Humanity as the recipient of the 2011 HTPA charitable gift.

Organized by HTPA Board Chair Lory Tauber in 2009, approximately 40 HTPA member volunteers and friends convened at Houston Habitat for Humanity and participated in a wall-build on June 25, 2009. The experience was instructive and personally rewarding for everyone involved.

HTPA has since participated in two wall-builds in 2010 and a home-site build in 2011.

Habitat for Humanity relies on the kindness of strangers. All funding comes from individual and corporate donations. The cost to build a new Habitat Home is below market, but substantial none the less. If you're considering a charitable contribution, consider Houston Habitat for Humanity. You'll help HTPA help a family in need, and feel good about it.
