Happy New Year! As we look forward to another great year at the HTPA, I cannot help but to reflect upon the activities and accomplishments of the club over the past year.  In addition to our monthly business meetings, the HTPA participated in a number of National Transportation Week events, hosted two golf tournaments, and hosted a "sell-out" holiday luncheon!  The proceeds from the two incredibly successful golf tournaments made it possible to provide $35,000 in scholarships to 10 well deserving students.  The members also stepped up to raise over $5,000 for the Be An Angel Foundation! On behalf of the board of directors, I want to thank all the volunteers and committee members that provided the horsepower for these events as well as the members and generous sponsors for their participation.

As we begin the 43rd year of the HTPA, we intend to carry on the legacy of educating members in logistics and transportation as well as provide a quality forum for creating and growing valuable relationships.  Let's use the momentum of past successes to expand the scholarship program and our gifts to charity.  Your involvement is the key to the success of the club.

To be a part of one of the largest and most successful transportation clubs in North America, please contact any of the board members to discuss the benefits of joining our organization.  If you are already a member, take a moment to recruit a co-worker or become more involved by volunteering, joining a committee, or becoming a member of the board.

I look forward to seeing everyone at our first business meeting in February and kicking-off another successful year for the HTPA!
